Amazing setting, beautiful rooms, everything was good. There was roll in showers in the bathroom, it was large, btw. We could enjoy views of the garden. The apartment was right by Tamarindo airport, only 0.5 miles.

We had an amazing stay at this cozy hidden gem. The outdoor kitchen and serene jungle garden created the perfect atmosphere for relaxation. Being just minutes away from the beach and local amenities was incredibly convenient. I highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed there for the xmas, had a great experience. It was nice to have rooms with a hammock, dryer, for instance. Liked views of the garden. The location was marvellous and peaceful, just 5 minutes walk from an art gallery...

It had good price considering location and people that were provided. Everything was simply perfect. The host helped us to enjoy the xmas. Location was unbeatable and best possible, liked it. 5 minutes walk to Playa Tamarindo.

We had an incredible stay at Casa Smilin' Dog! Andy, the owner, was always available and extremely helpful. the place itself was fantastic - super clean, with a comfortable bed and pillows. the A/C worked perfectly, and there was a huge TV. the fully equipped kitchen was a plus, and everything was in great working order. the location was ideal, as it was close to both the beach and the center, yet still quiet and peaceful. We didn't hear any noise from bars or the street. the abundance of towels, soap, and toilet paper in the apartment was a nice touch.

There were also a couple of supermarkets nearby. Cons: Nothing that I didn't like.

Great stay! The beds were super comfortable and the kitchen was well-equipped. We loved cooking on the outdoor patio and the hosts were incredibly accommodating. The location was perfect, just a block away from the beach and close to the best part of town. We enjoyed the quietness of the area and didn't hear any noise from the clubs. The hosts were warm and friendly, making us feel right at home. excellent value for the price!

Not many complaints, but parking was a bit tight with limited spaces. However, the host was very helpful and made it easy for us to maneuver the cars.

The location of the hotel was great, close to the beach, bars, restaurants, and supermarket. It was very convenient to have everything within walking distance. the owners of the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. They even took us to a beautiful beach that was off the beaten path.

The presence of raccoons that would run on the roof at night, which was quite disturbing. Another downside was that the area where the hotel was located was quite expensive compared to other places in Costa Rica.

I had such a wonderful stay at a charming place in Tamarindo. The hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The outdoor kitchen was a unique and enjoyable feature. The location was perfect, close to all the action but still peaceful. And the icing on the cake was the lightning-fast internet, perfect for both work and streaming. I highly recommend this hotel for a delightful stay.

Had an amazing stay at Casa Smilin' Dog. Beds were comfortable, plenty of towels provided, and the kitchen was well-equipped. Cooking on the outdoor patio was a great experience. The hosts were incredibly helpful and accommodating, even allowing us to do laundry for free. The bathroom was clean and spacious, with ample storage. The location was perfect - close to everything but still peaceful. Also, the Wi-Fi was super fast, perfect for work and streaming. Highly recommend staying here!
